A PANCREATIC cancer campaigner from Scunthorpe has expressed her disappointment after the health spending watchdog for England refused to fund a new drug. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has today confirmed its ruling that Abraxane is too expensive to be given alongside gemcitabine.
