FIRE crews attended after a fire at a first floor flat in Scunthorpe this morning (Wednesday, September 23). Police were also called to the incident, which is being investigated. A Humberside Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said four firefighters attended the scene after they got the call at 6.11am. "We were on the scene by 6.17am. "It was in the rear bedroom of a first floor flat."There's smoke damage to the whole of the first floor.""The smoke alarms were activated."
