A WOMAN remains in hospital after a crash on the A18 on Wednesday (September 23).
The female pedestrian sustained what police described as "life-threatening" injuries in the incident, which also involved a white Citroen DS5.
It happened between Scawby Crossroads and Castlethorpe at around 5.30pm.
Police said the 19-year-old woman was crossing the road when the incident happened.
The driver of the car, which was travelling in the direction of Brigg, was not injured.
