SCUNTHORPE'S Royal Hotel looks set to undergo a major refurbishment before Christmas.
The work could be the first major investment by the Suffolk-based brewery Greene-King since it took over the Royal in the summer as part of a £744 million deal with the Spirit Group.
The deal also included the Warren Lodge and Ashby Lodge in Scunthorpe, the Old Farm House in Gunness and The Gamekeeper in Scotter.
