COUNCIL bosses say they will endeavour to ensure no wildlife is harmed during roadworks to create a new turning on a major Scunthorpe road.
The £100,000 North Lincolnshire Council project to build a dedicated left turn from Brigg Road onto the A18 Mortal Ash Hill is set to begin on Monday (October 5).
Mole hills and rabbits are a common site in the area close to where the works will take place.
But a council spokeswoman said wildlife would not be affected by the scheme.
