UNEMPLOYMENT in North Lincolnshire hit a 10-year low last month (September).
Figures released by the Office for National Statistics show there were 2,167 people claiming the Jobseeker's Allowance benefit.
It was just three more than the previous lowest figure of 2,164, recorded in June 2005.
Of the current unemployed, only 779 are women.
But 460 people on the dole are aged under 24 years and 175 of them have been out of work for six months or more.
