BUSINESS secretary Sajid Javid has spoken for the first time since it was announced 900 jobs steel jobs will be axed in Scunthorpe but said there was little the Government could do to change the price of steel or exchange rates.
Today's cuts have widely been blamed on cheap Chinese imports, with unions and Tata Steel saying the UK steel industry is not operating on a level playing field.
