Work on a "run-down site" in North Lincolnshire started this week, to make way for a convenience store.
The soon-to-be Co-operative outlet will be situated on the corner of Redbourne Road and West Street, Hibaldstow, and will open next year after extensive work on the site.
Planning permission was granted earlier this year after property consultants Bruton Knowles brokered the deal with The Co-op and Saxondale properties.
