NORTH Lincolnshire Council says it would be breaking the law if it did not claim £15.2-million in business rates from Tata Steel in Scunthorpe.
Yesterday the firm announced it was axing 900 jobs in Scunthorpe, prompting many people to call on the council to do its bit and give the beleaguered firm a break.
