A BALLOT has started among thousands of employees of North Lincolnshire Council to decide if they will accept a year-long pay freeze as part of a plan to make annual staff savings of £2 million.The ballot, which ends on November 20, follows the conclusion of three months of negotiations between the local authority and the Unison, GMB and Unite trade unions.The unions claim as a result the original 27 money-saving measures have been cut back to six.At a series of meetings at the town's...
