PLANS have been submitted to demolish one of Scunthorpe's historic churches and convert the site into bed-sits and flats for the homeless.The investment, by the Newcastle-based charity Home Group, will see the former Centenary Methodist Church in the town's Frodingham Road turned into 17 one-bed units.
