AN ONLINE petition has been launched by Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin to save the town's court building on Laneham Street from closure.The Ministry of Justice started consultation last week to close the 61-year-old building due to its under-use.The closure could put 18 jobs at risk.The shock news comes eight years after the Ministry invested £377,000 on relocating the Scunthorpe County Court from its previous base in Comforts Avenue to a first floor extension on stilts next to the Magistrates'...
