Roadworks are underway on a heavily-used road in Scunthorpe, which has been reduced to only one lane.
A zebra crossing has also been taken out of use.
Three-way temporary traffic lights have been installed at the junction of Station Road and Laneham Street - not far from the railway station.
North Lincolnshire Council is installing a drop crossing and new central reservation.
The work is scheduled to last until Friday (November 27).
