HUNDREDS of people have gathered for the annual Haxey Hood game this afternoon (Wednesday, January 6).
The ancient tradition sees teams attempt to sway a leather cylinder – the hood – to one of three pubs in Haxey or one in Westwoodside.
Among those taking part this year is Rupert Padgett, 20, of Belton.
