Clugston Distribution, on Brigg Road, wants to add a single-storey extension to a workshop and wishes to incorporate additional vehicle pits.
North Lincolnshire Council planners are now considering the application.
Clugston says the extension is needed because of business growth and the increasing size of modern vehicles.
