TAXPAYERS in Lincolnshire look set to pay more towards tackling crime and maintaining bobbies on the street.
The police and crime commissioner Alan Hardwick is proposing to increase the amount of money it receives through council tax by 1.96 per cent.
This equates to an increase of £3.87 a year for an average band D property – or 1p a day.
