American diner opens: Diners flock to new Scunthorpe restaurant

FOODIES flocked to new American diner Route 15 in Scunthorpe's Ravendale Street yesterday (Saturday, February 13).The restaurant - which serves burgers, waffles and sundaes - is owned by Nicos and Judy Trantalis, who also own the facing Scalinis fish and chip restaurant.Mr and Mrs Trantalis have invested £50,000 into the new business which is a make-over of the former Yum Stars Cafe.It will be run by Mrs Trantalis and daughter Natasha and will open from 11am until 8pm Monday to...
