Scunthorpe fire crews called to kitchen fire

TWO engines from Scunthorpe were sent to deal with a kitchen fire today (Wednesday, February 17).Humberside Fire and Rescue was called to the fire at 9.38am. The incident happened at a property on High Street in Burringham.Crews arrived at the scene at 9.50am and extinguished the fire, which involved a faulty extension cable, using one hose reel.They also isolated the electrics.There was fire damage to a washer, kitchen unit and waste pipe, and slight fire damage to the rest of the kitchen.A...
