POLICE were called after a horse was found running on one of North Lincolnshire's main roads tonight (Monday, February 21).
The horse was seen by an off-duty Humberside Police special constable on the A18 at Brigg.
A message on the South Bank Specials Twitter page said: "Off duty, saw a horse running on A18, Brigg. Moved it off the road and police now in attendance #neveroffduty #6109"
