North Lincolnshire Council will be holding a ceremony to show its support for Commonwealth Day on Monday (March 14).
The Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Councillor Helen Rowson, will raise the Commonwealth flag at 10am.
The Mayor will read a special Commonwealth affirmation at the ceremony before she raises the flag at the Civic Centre, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe.
More and more people are taking part in Commonwealth Day with more than 850 flags being raised at the same time on the same day.
