HOTELS, pubs and clubs in North Lincolnshire have been warned they could face prosecution if they demand hefty deposits and cancellation fees up front from party organisers.The warning has come from public watchdogs at the Competition and Markets Authority after more than 100 over-charging venues in the UK were identified.The offending venues have been told deposits should only be used to secure a reservation and should only be a small percentage of the total booking fee.At the same time, ...
