PRESCRIPTION costs are set to rise next month, the Government has revealed.
Additional costs for other treatments are also set to be introduced across England on April 1.
The price for prescriptions is set to go up by 20p to £8.40.
However, 90 per cent of prescription items will continue to be handed out for free and will not be impacted by the increased prices.
The announcement means prices will have gone up by £1.20 since David Cameron came to power in 2010.
