More than 200,000 patients in the UK were left without a GP last year when their surgeries closed down, national figures have shown.
The figures, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, show that 72 health practices shut in England in 2015, with a total of 206,269 patients displaced.
The news does not bode well if you are thinking of changing your doctor, because finding a new surgery to register with could become harder to find.
