Fast food giants McDonald's has announced plans to build an extension and refurbish its drive-thru restaurant on Scunthorpe's Lakeside Retail Park.
The move comes in response to rival operators KFC and Subway opening new branches on the the retail park in Ashby earlier this month
McDonald's, which has another local branch at Gunness, has yet to reveal the cost.
