North Lincolnshire Council is going to permanently close a housing estate link road in Scunthorpe from Monday, April 4 to reduce the amount of traffic travelling through the residential area.
A consultation was carried out with residents of Staindale Road and Coverdale Road when the proposal was put forward.
The council considered all views expressed and has decided to go ahead with the road closure by installing bollards across the road.
