A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital by air ambulance after a crash in Scunthorpe this afternoon (Saturday, August 1), police have confirmed.
The incident happened on Merlin Road at around 2.30pm and involved a single vehicle.
Police and other emergency service personnel were sent to the scene.
The Humberside Police Command Centre has now confirmed the air ambulance was called and that the motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital.
