TRAVELLERS who had set up camp at Central Park in Scunthorpe have left the site.
Around 15 caravans and vans arrived at the North Lincolnshire Council-owned car park off Kingsway on Friday (April 1).
A council spokesman said yesterday (Monday, April 4) that police had visited the site over the weekend to move the travellers.
But the spokesman said because the travellers had a broken down vehicle, they did not have to comply if served with a direction to move.
However, the caravans were spotted...
