Work has started on a major refurbishment of an historic village pub.
The owners at Punch Taverns are investing £130,000 to upgrade village local the Wheatsheaf Inn at Hibaldstow.
A company spokeswoman told Bar Fly: "The refurbishment will include external rendering and new signage as well as re-decoration inside.
"The Wheatsheaf will continue to trade to the community while we complete the work."
