SCUNTHORPE General Hospital has given advice to patients following industrial action by junior doctors. The strike, which started at 8am yesterday (Wednesday 6) is set to last for 48 hours. It is the fourth strike in a long-running dispute with the government over a new contract. Patients will be informed if the strike affects appointments, operations and procedures.
