A local estate agent expects to see confidence flood into the property market following the news that Greybull Capital has agreed to buy the Tata Steel plant in Scunthorpe.
Jim Colver, from Grice and Hunter in Scunthorpe, said: "I expect to see confidence come back into the market because of the Tata news and, the fact we are returning to the British Steel days, will increase confidence in North Lincolnshire.
"The prospects for North Lincolnshire have not been as good for a long time."
