AIR pollution in Scunthorpe has been rated high this morning (Tuesday, August 4). According to monitoring, the North Lincolnshire Santon site has high levels of dust particles rated at "index 7" on the scale, which ranges from 1-10. Poor air quality can affect people with respiratory problems. Other sites including East Common Lane and Rowland Road were rated low.
