SCUNTHORPE steelworkers joined a mass march on Downing Street today (Wednesday, May 25) as they stepped up the Save our Steel campaign.
The protest, organised by the industry's three main unions Unite, GMB and Community, came as the directors of the Tata Steel Group met in Mumbai, India, to draw up a short-list of bidders for the UK business.
Up to hundred workers from Scunthorpe were set to travel down to London to join the march.
