A WEATHER warning for heavy rain and possible thunder has been issued for the Scunthorpe area today (Thursday, August 25).
The warning, issued across Yorkshire and the Humber, by the Met Office says: "Heavy rain may lead to localised rainfall accumulations of 20 to 30 millimetres in one to two hours, with some places perhaps seeing 40 to 60 millimetres in three to six hours."This may cause some travel disruption during rush hour this evening.
