Householders in North Lincolnshire are recycling more cardboard than before – but the rate for glass recycling has dropped.
The latest figures from the local authority reveal between June 2015 and May this year 890 tonnes of cardboard were recycled – an increase of 85 tonnes on the previous annual rate.
At the same time the amount of glass collected slightly fell from 3,712 to 3,689 tonnes.
