COUNCIL bosses have emphasised the need for safety measures to be followed at the new splashpad water play area in Scunthorpe's Central Park.
The facility was closed on Monday for work to install tarmac paving around the perimeter, to allow better maintenance of the site and provide an area for parents or guardians to watch.
