A NEW festival aimed at celebrating recovery for former alcoholics and drug users is taking place in Scunthorpe.
Recovery Fest has been organised by the Active Recovery Service, in partnership with Empathy, CGL (Change, Grow, Live), North Lincolnshire Council and Safer Neighbourhoods.
The first festival will take place in Central Park on Friday (September 2) from 2pm to 6pm and it also aims to raise awareness and signpost people to services which can help with recovery.
