North Lincolnshire Council is carrying out repair work on Scotter Road, Scunthorpe.
It is expected to result in some delays for drivers, due to temporary traffic controls being in use.
A number of concrete lighting columns are being replaced.
Up to four days have been allowed for the task but it is not expected to take that long.
The columns are between Burringham Road roundabout and South Park Road junction.
