POLICE were called after sheep were seen on a major road in North Lincolnshire this morning (Tuesday, August 11).
Three sheep were spotted wandering on the A159 close to Catchwater Crossroads, near Messingham, at around 7.20am.
Humberside Police Sergeant James Main said the animals were at the bottom of a hill going onto the road.
He said police patrols in the area were sent out for observation but there was no disruption to traffic while the incident was dealt with.
