A NORTH Lincolnshire angler helped with the heroic rescue of a young boy who had been taken out to sea in an inflatable toy dinghy.
Brett Bartram, 33, was taking part in a fishing match when he stepped in to help save the boy, who was being taken away from the beach at Chapel St Leonards.
Together with Grimsby man George Smith, he managed to haul the dinghy back to the shore, to the relief of the boy's watching parents.
