SATURDAY'S stockcar meeting at the Eddie Wright Raceway had to be abandoned after one of the drivers was airlifted to hospital.
The accident happened in the F2 outlaw pre'75 race when one of the cars hit the barrier before being hit by another driver.
Promoter Rob Godfrey said that the driver fainted after the crash and was airlifted to hospital by air ambulance with the meeting abandoned with six races left to run.
