PART of a street was cordoned off after a telegraph pole snapped off at the base.
Firefighters from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident, which happened at around 3.50pm yesterday (Monday, August 17).
It happened on Pashley Walk, in Epworth.
Firefighters cordoned off the area around the telegraph pole and awaited the arrival of an engineer, who made the area safe by isolating the power supply.
