INVISIBLE germs at Scunthorpe General Hospital are no longer able to hide.Using fluorescent marking gel and a UV light, staff across the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, are making the invisible, visible.Staff can dab a small amount of gel on areas frequently used in the hospital including door handles, desks and bedside tables. The gel is then left for 24 hours and the UV light will be used to highlight any invisible germs.Hospital support services...
