An estate of 246 new homes has been given the green light by North Lincolnshire Council planners.
The application was submitted from the local authority's own estate management section, which is based in Brigg.
The site given outline permission is located on agricultural land off Phoenix Parkway, Scunthorpe, and will cover an area of almost 8 hectares.
The council received two objections to the plan from members of the public.
