A firm which was seeking planning permission to drill for gas and oil in North Lincolnshire has confirmed it is to submit a new application for the site.
North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee rejected plans for Egdon Resources to drill for oil and gas in Wressle in January.
The firm confirmed they have formally lodged an appeal to the Secretary of State today (Tuesday, April 11) and will submit a new application later this month.
