Council planners are now considering the application for permission to proceed.
Unilet Ltd, of Hull, wants to build five houses off Newport Drive, Winterton.
Winterton Community Academy is situated nearby.
North Lincolnshire Council planners say they will welcome comments on the application until September 22.
