IT is understood a four-strong syndicate has pulled out of a deal to buy a Scunthorpe pub.
The move, at the Riveter pub, is believed to have come over concerns residents would block plans to extend the beer garden.
The Riveter, which was opened in 1986, was put up for sale in June for £150,000 by the Snaith-based Old Mill Brewery.
