AFTER 20 years as a regular, Winterton-based businessman Kevin Gearing is to take over the running of his local.
Kevin, who owns two shops in Scunthorpe, has promised big changes at the Butchers Arms after agreeing to replace out-going tenant Paul McKenzie.
His eldest son Ben Gearing, 23, will take over the day-to-day running of the pub.
The Gearings have reached a deal with the pub owners at Enterprise Inns to complete a £100,000 refurbishment plan by next June.
