GUY Martin has revealed he has turned down the chance to join Chris Evans on BBC 2's Top Gear.
The Isle of Man TT star - from Kirmington - was among the favourites, with bookies and fans, to join the show.
However, Guy - who is currently promoting his new book - said he did get asked to do Top Gear but turned it down.
He said he wanted to keep his job as a truck mechanic in Grimsby and that he'd still be able to do that if he maintained his current filming arrangements with Channel 4.
