PLANS to merge two schools in Scunthorpe have been approved by North Lincolnshire Council.The amalgamated school will become operational on September 1 next year.Berkeley Infants School will be closed and the age range of pupils at Berkeley Junior School will be expanded to include 4-11 year olds.
