HUMBERSIDE Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Grove has said moving south bank officers to Lincolnshire Police would "destabilise' crime fighting in the area.
Mr Grove spoke at a meeting of parish council leaders in North East Lincolnshire, held at Grimsby Town Hall.
He responded to calls for the whole south bank area to become part of the Lincolnshire force, made by Barnoldby-le-Beck Parish Council.
